Hoppy Easter! (and our first baby gifts!)

Hehe, hoppy? My little froggy..? Eh? Ehhh? Ok, lame joke aside, happy belated Easter everyone :) I had a pretty good day but you can read about it over in my personal blog, Becoming Alice (when I finally post about it later today, lol!). I'm finding that even though I'm feeling great right now, I'm still prone to sinus and allergy ailments and that anything I do that I was able to do before pregnancy I can still do but it just takes a lot more out of me. Realizing my limitations is really hard but it's starting to become a quick reality as my body literally tells me 'enough is enough'. I'm not used to sitting back and taking it easy, so this is a huge struggle for me.

We got our first baby gifts from my very good and amazingly insightful friend, Amy (and Greg, Caden, and Shepard too, of course!).

She managed to find an Alice in Wonderland cardboard baby book - adorable!!! Alice is my favorite :)




She also found the most adorable outfit for my little froggy to wear! I love the feet and the bum!!!!! How cute is this? :)

 

And of course, my first "Mommy" outfit!

She always has the most thoughtful and personal gifts. It really makes me smile to know she puts a lot of thought/personalization in to things. She inspires me to do the same for my friends too. I think little things like that really make people smile and feel good - so, thank you Amy!!!! I certainly love them! :)
